Princess Project

The Princess Project first came to Park Wood in February 2013, and we’ve enjoyed being part of the great community there ever since. We have an office base behind Christ Church which is usually open on a Monday and Tuesday between 9.30 and 2.30
Always best to phone or text ahead as we are a small team and if we are out on a visit then the office may not be open. Phone Emma on

If you are a mum living in Park Wood, why not pop in and say hello?  We would love to meet you, and tell you about what’s going on.

We are delighted to have been selected as one of the charities that the new Mayor of Maidstone, Cllr David Naghi, will be supporting during his term of office. We are looking forward to working with him to raise awareness of our work in Maidstone, and hopefully raise some vital funds to allow us to continue supporting local mums.

Our main Park Wood event is our popular monthly Totcycle, where we usually welcome around 30 families through the door to exchange baby and toddler goods and have a cuppa and a catch-up! We run other events throughout the year, however, and are looking forward to our summer events- more details coming soon! We also do a lot of one-to-one work with families, either through our Mum2Mum befriending service, or on a more informal basis.

We hold a drop-in session in the café at Fusion Living Centre on Wednesday mornings during term-time (except the first Wednesday of the month when it’s Totcycle at Christ Church). Mums are welcome to join us for a coffee (on us) and a chat- it’s a great chance to meet some of the Princess Project team, as well as other local mums.

We work closely with the Meadow Children’s Centre, Fusion Healthy Living Centre and Christ Church, Park Wood to try and provide joined-up support to the families we meet.
