Aldi in Park Wood
My wife and I first shopped in Aldi when we lived in Dumfries 20 years ago. We really did miss them when we moved back to Kent 18 years ago.
We never expected to discover that Aldi were to open their latest store just one mile away from where we now live in Park Wood. We had been using their Holland Road store since that first opened, making serious savings on our weekly shop compared to any other supermarket in Maidstone.
Now, with the new Laight Road store in Park Wood, we have even made a noticeable saving on our monthly petrol bill. How good is that !!!!
Charlie’s Chippy was always very good in my experience before they moved from their Parkwood Parade shop (now demolished) into their new premises.
Unfortunately since their move they have let their standards slip big time. I have twice now been let down by being served up cold chips after waiting ten to fifteen minutes for my fish to be freshly fried. Just cooked and seriously hot fish deserves to be served with HOT chips, not cold leftover reheated ones.
I have never known a chemist’s or pharmacist’s like the one at Park Wood. Their service in my opinion has been nothing short of outstanding in every respect.
A professional service at competitive prices. Quality of work was excellent would definitely recommend.
I had two pieces of glass cut for a garden office, Park Glass were friendly with exceptional communication. I was very impressed, especially given that my order was only small.
My husband took me to Toby Carvery for a birthday treat.
The meal we had was excellent, as was the service. Will definitely return again. Highly recommended.
